In the course of your visit to or use of our website, various data, some of which is personal, is collected, processed and used.

Pursuant to Section 3 (1) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), personal data is individual information about the personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by us if this is legally permitted or if you consent to the corresponding data collection, use and/or passing on. Subject to any statutory retention obligations, this data will only be stored for as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was stored.


When you visit our website, so-called log files are always collected and stored, which your browser transmits to the web server of our hosting provider. This information cannot be assigned to you personally. A combination of this data with other data sources does not take place. This information includes the type and version of browser used, the operating system used, the URL of the previously visited website (referrer URL), the host name of the accessing computer (IP address) as well as the time of the server request and the access status. The storage of this data serves to detect and analyse system vulnerabilities and their elimination and the data is deleted by our hosting provider after 6 months at the latest. We reserve the right to subsequently check the information stored in the respective log files if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete indications. In case of suspicion of a criminal offence, the information stored in the respective log files may be forwarded to the competent law enforcement authorities, provided that there is a legal obligation to do so or a corresponding court order exists.


We also collect and store personal data that you provide to us voluntarily, for example when you send us a message via our contact form or send e-mails to us. In these cases, we may ask you for certain personal data that is necessary for the performance of the services.

When placing an order via remote communication means (in particular by e-mail or via our contact form), we may also collect your

– payment information (bank details and/or credit card details).


The payment information is used exclusively for billing purposes. In the context of billing, data is passed on to third parties such as credit institutions or payment service providers. Your data will not be passed on to other third parties or used for advertising purposes. Once the contract has been fully processed, your data will be blocked for further use and deleted after expiry of the retention periods under tax and commercial law.

We expressly point out that data protection for data transmissions in open networks such as the Internet cannot be comprehensively guaranteed according to the state of the art.


Cookies are small files which are transmitted from the Internet to the user’s or visitor’s browser together with the data actually requested and which enable specific information relating to the device to be stored on the user’s access device.

The session cookies we use are used to collect statistical data on the use of the website and to be able to analyse it in the interest of improving the services.

The validity of session cookies is limited to the duration of the visit to the website. They are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.

We do not merge the information stored in cookies with your personal data. You can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option with which the storage of cookies can be restricted or completely prevented.
